Historic Home Restoration & Remodel

Remodel vs. Restoration

Restoration of your historic home refers to returning the exterior and interior appearance to a specific time period or date to help with interpreting its history. It may be when a significant event occurred or when the home was built, including Colorado Springs own Old North End.

historic home restoration

Remodel refers to making a home function for a modern household to use while still preserving and retaining important architectural and historic features. Alternative materials may also be incorporated by a rehab project instead of the original being duplicated.

Whether you are remodeling or restoring your historic home will affect how long it will take to complete the project, how much it will cost, and how much of the work will need to be done by experienced historic home professionals.
